I qualified as a doctor in 1994 and worked for 6 years in hospital medicine mainly in acute adult medicine but also in paediatrics and Accident and Emergency. I passed my Membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 1998. In 2000 I moved into family General Practice and was a GP Partner for many years. I now work as a freelance GP in the NHS in Cumbria and as a private Integrative Medicine Physician.
I have significant training and experience in complementary therapies such as nutritional medicine, acupuncture and homeopathy. For ten years I ran a primary care based pain clinic using acupuncture and nutritional therapies. I hold a postgraduate diploma in the Study of integrative Medicine and continue to spend many hours researching the many approaches to achieving great health and well being.
My particular interests include reversal of cognitive decline, reversal of diabetes, pain management and fatigue management. My passion is to identify the root cause of dis-ease and offer an all encompassing response to these core issues.
